Understanding that labour is the important base of self-development is a matter of utter necessity.
In our opinion comments of the spiritual teacher Sergey Bobyr about this book are extremely valuable and helpful for understanding and accepting this information.
A particularly interesting thing is his view of the nature of entropy.
Serious working and efforts are the basis of spiritual life. Reaching the divine, living on Earth and growth would be impossible without it.

1 Podolynsky’s ideas are basically a reflection on working in a social sense. He shares a narrow view of the concept of energy. A qualitative change in the state of energy is its transition from a state in the form of minerals to a conscious use by a human. There is no concept of subtle and divine energies that descend to a person from above in this book.
There is also an erroneous thesis about the Earth’s ability to store energy which increases the amount of the planet’s energy. But in fact, it’s only the exchange of energy that is increased. The energy mechanism of the Earth can be compared to the same mechanism in humans, so it is not about storing energy.
2 Podolinsky gives a good analysis of non-human species that helps to understand the type of working that gives the spiritual growth :
Bees working follows a scheme “plan-method-result”, and this is their way reaching the divine level;
Beavers do the working because their activity is their mission. They perform the function of an element without which the biogeocenosis can’t work;
Ants do the working because their activity exceeds the physiological needs of these animals and serves for the benefit of others: other creatures, other animals in a flock or hive.
3. The analysis of various definitions of labor revealed the following points to be true:
Labor is an increase of energy
Labor is the direct use of psychic energy
Labor is the solution to one’s spiritual mission
Labor is an energy working or Working with energy
Labor is understanding God
Labor is the fulfillment of one’s mission
Uniting these points gives the following definition of labor:
Labor is the increment of energy through energy work (or, for example, the direct use of psychic energy) to solve one’s spiritual tasks, fulfill one’s mission, and ultimately move towards God and understand the divine.
You can see that all that we got used to determine as labour is not labour at all. Working only means spiritual work. That means that the janitor’s sweeping is not working. But if sweeping is his mission, this process will lead him to understanding of God or to fulfilling his global life tasks. This may be called working. Only the process that fulfills the mission is important. All the rest is just about living fast. Look at your life – there is so little true work in it. It is filled with your going to work, making money which is important but only at the first level of survival. But it is not working for many of you.
4. Podolynsky’s idea that the constant amount of energy in the universe is false.
There is a balance of power in the universe, but the universe has the possibility to collapse (due to the dark ones or an imbalance). The universe may have a beginning and no end. There can be both a beginning and an end. If the universe arrangement is not balanced, it will collapse. The question of whether the Universe has or has not a beginning is not completely answered, because the universes communicate with each other, and the diffusion of energy and information from one to the other is possible. In modern science, this is called the “Multiverse Theory”.
Creatures that come from the lower and higher worlds can take or bring energy into the Universe. So even if our Universe is conditionally limited, the existence of the lower and upper worlds keeps energy coming and going through the portals. So they communicate.
5. Podolynsky mentions entropy as one of the basic components of our universe, because we observe it all the time in our lives. But, in fact, entropy is a foreign element that needs to be removed from our universe.

When beings outside the Universes fought to establish a common superuniverse order, the ideas of «the old order” were replaced by other “new”ones. The impossibility of a peaceful change of orders led to the appearance of gaps. These gaps were filled and connected by what we call “entropy”.
Entropy appeared in the points of self-destruction of the old and the new parts in superuniverse order. God created the Demiurge who controls entropy, this Demiurge turned these gaps into entropy Universes. Entropy began to spread to the lower worlds of the Universes.
Up to a certain point, there had been no entropy, but later, it became a part of God (there is nothing but God, and if something new appears it always becomes part of him).
In the human understanding this is not the norm, it is a “mistake” since it destroys all the worlds – the dark, light and the neutral ones. In this process it takes energy out of these worlds and pumps it into the entropic Super Universes to the Demiurge who created them. It turns out that entropy gradually destroys everything, but, at the moment, it is part of the overall balance. But entropy is the major enemy for everything because it incrementally takes all the energy.
Therefore, every living being’s goal should be defeating entropy at least within themselves. We should cultivate inner peace, complicate and expand our structures.
A lot of people mistakenly take entropy for time. But this is false, because if the balance is maintained, time may be infinite. And entropy devours everything including time since time is an energy-informational resource
